Evidence-based content

Our clinical content is written to align with the latest published international guidance, including the ILCOR International Consensus on CPR and ECC Science, the American Heart Association and American Red Cross guidelines, the European Resuscitation Council guidelines, and WHO, CDC and OSHA guidance where relevant. Each course lists its sources.

Where respected organizations differ (for example, whether to begin child CPR with rescue breaths), we explain the difference rather than hide it.

Versioned and reviewed

Every course carries a content version. When clinical content changes, we publish a new version; enrollments and certificates record the version each learner studied. We review all courses at least annually and within 90 days of major guideline updates.

Learning design

• Short lessons, each tied to explicit module objectives and course learning outcomes.
• Multiple modes: text, expert video, animation, interactive practice and scenarios.
• Formative knowledge checks with explanations in every lesson.
• A summative final assessment drawn at random from a question bank, with an 80% pass mark.

Records and integrity

For every learner we record enrollment and completion dates, verified active learning time (only while the lesson is open and the learner is interacting), every assessment attempt and answer, and every certificate issued, revoked or reinstated. Certificates carry unique numbers and QR codes that anyone can check.

Accessibility

We design to WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard-accessible interactions, sufficient color contrast, captions available on videos, and animations that respect your device's reduced-motion setting.

Our accreditation roadmap

Our certificate is currently a certificate of completion, not an accredited qualification. We have built the platform so it can meet the requirements typically set by accrediting bodies, and we plan to seek formal accreditation and to offer a blended pathway with in-person practical skills assessment. We will update this page as that work progresses.
